It's amazing how children develope. As Solon said when Haylee was born..."I don't know how people don't believe in God." Having a child really is a mind boggling experience. How a little body grows and develops and learns...I will never fully understand. I just thank God for giving me the oppertunity to see it. It has changed mine and Solon's lives...for the better =)
Haylee Update: We are now clapping our hands. She has been waving for a while too, but she has just begun to wave and say bye bye or ba ba. We are still trying to disguinsh the two. She will ask for her "ba ba" when she's hungry. Nana has been visiting and has been singing her songs to make her clap. She loves to sing her self to sleep. It sounds more like a moan but it's still music to my ears. She says Da Da with no problem and she knows who he is that it will get his attention. She has said Ma Ma only a couple of times and usually it's when she's crying or someone has made her mad. She is after EVERYTHING. She hasn't mastered crawling but she gets around none the less. She will get on her knees..not rocking yet and smile and then...nothing. We are hoping soon, but I am patient. I want her to learn things in her own time. And she's just not ready yet. We have our first tooth! She got it about a month ago. It is fully grown in now, right smack in the middle, on the bottom. She's growing out of clothes like crazy...she is now in 9 months. We are experimenting with solids. I just bought a book today. But for Haylee...cereal is it! she doesn't too much want anything else.
I could go on about all of the little things I enjoy noticing everyday, but I will not continue to babble.
God is blessing our lives in ways we don't even know.
I'm excited for what's in store.
